I replaced my parity drive - it failed. The parity sync is running and it seems the estimated speed is rather slow -- is it or is it normal? Please look at the attached screen shot.

Depending on your hardware, no.

 

My parity check speed is about half that, but my older motherboard is all PCI bus.
