Rajahal
Data disk1 (a jumpered 2 TB WD EARS) is being mounted as read-only. Here's the applicable excerpt from the syslog: Jan 19 18:09:57 Muninn kernel: REISERFS error (device md1): reiserfs-2025 reiserfs_cache_bitmap_metadata: bitmap block 488374272 is corrupted: first bit must be 1 Jan 19 18:09:57 Muninn kernel: REISERFS (device md1): Remounting filesystem read-only I believe I should run Reiserfsck on the disk, but I figured I should double check first. Is that the correct course of action? Also, a parity check (started by me) is currently in progress. It is OK to run Reiserfsck while the parity check is running, correct? Full syslog attached. syslog_muninn.txt Link to comment

Yes, run it on /dev/md1 after following the instructions in the wiki to stop samba and un-mount it. The array must be running. It is OK if the parity check is running. Joe L. Link to comment
