Docker failing repeatedly with "read-only file system" errors

In the last couple of months I have had my docker setup fail multiple times. The only error I see in the container logs are lines like this e":"open /var/lib/docker/containers/fake-2478a48ed5b5b324b26159ff3d15b48c23d5246ecd3a9d2b067f9c0ac4f45c8d/fake-2478a48ed5b5b324b26159ff3d15b48c23d5246ecd3a9d2b067f9c0ac4f45c8d-json.log: read-only file system"}. I ended up recreating my setup (stop -> delete image -> start -> recreate images) multiple times. But in the last week this has happened 3 times and I'd like to some help troubleshooting this.

 

I will try and attach the diagnostics zip file shortly.
