It is actually damn slow and not just misreporting.
Last time I tried, a week or two ago, it was as bad. My internet is fine otherwise.
It can be a problem beyond the annoying speeds as the array won't stop with a download running and you can't cancel a download via the WebUI so you have to kill wget (I think it was wget) manually.
