  1. Hi all, I was able to solve this problem by booting of an old hard drive, installing windows there and then passing it through to the machine.
  2. Hi All, I am trying to get Unraid to passthrough RX 580 to a windows 10 1909 VM. Currently I am able to pass it through to Ubuntu VM, but not windows. I do not see any error in the logs, but (I hope) I am missing something... Would greatly appreciate if someone could take a look. My main goal is to be able to use Lightroom and play some windows games. My Ubuntu laptop is doing pretty good with games (Lutris/Steam) but Lightroom is a big nono here :|. Setup: unRaid 6.8.2, ASRock - AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac, Ryzen 5 3600, XFX RX 580 8GB Things that I have tried: - UEFI boot/legacy boot - IOMMU set to 'both' to have a separate group for GPU and soundcard - passing ROM to the GPU - using i440fx/Q35 machine The 'furthest' i got is with Q35, UEFI enabled. I was able to: - start the machine with GPU assigned - login using splashtop - and that is it... - device manager does not have a 'Display Device' - AMD drivers throw error 182, cannot find device Currently the machine starts, my external monitor goes black. I am unable to login remotely into the machine, or gracefully shut it down. I noticed that once I 'force quit' the windows VM, I am unable to boot Ubuntu (although there is no error). Ubuntu machine is marked as 'started', but is not responding. I am attaching the XML as well as diagnostics zip. <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='2'> <name>Windows 10 FFQQ</name> <uuid>c6b33a69-e334-75d7-3e78-90b2b3d13ad4</uuid>
