  1. I'm on root and have all the appropriate settings enabled for my shares, however multiple times a day i may be presented with a "you do not have permission to do modify this share" (paraphrasing the error) when I am moving files around. I run the new permissions function from the unraid UI and it fixes it...temporarily. Eventually the permissions will seem to get messed up somewhere and I have to run new permissions again and again. Any idea how to fix this? OS: Windows 10
  2. Alright so I've seen this is a common problem, and trust me I've been reading but I just dont get the problem probably because I am new to Unraid I followed this Space Invader tutorial How to use a Seedbox with Sonarr Radarr and your Media Server that goes through the setup for Ultraseedbox Sonnar and syncthing, but Sonarr is not seeing the correct folder and I know this might be a mapping problem but I cant find out where the problem is Sonnar is reporting: Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: /home35/USERNAME/files/Bobs.Burgers.S10E16.1080p.WEB.x264-XLF[rarbg] But the files are actually downloaded to /home35/USERNAME/files/completed (split up by auto unpacking rules to series and movies directories) Syncthing is successfully pulling my torrents from my seedbox directory: /home35/USERNAME/files/completed to my Unraid share Downloads so /downloads/Torrents_seedbox/ Syncthing Docker Template: Host path2: /mnt/user/downloads (it was /mnt/user according to the vid but that didnt work so i changed it) Container Path: /data (it was /sync but i changed it to /data) Sonnar Docker template Host path2: /mnt/user/downloads/ Container Path: /data Host path3: /mnt/user Container Path: /media Sonnar Settings Download client is the rutorrent on my seedbox. Sonnar successfully connects Host: USERNAME.lw814.usbx.me Url Path: /RPC REMOTE PATH SETUP Host: USERNAME.lw814.usbx.me/ Remote path: /home35/USERNAME/files/completed/ Local path: /data/Torrents_seedbox/ (on downloads share) Seedbox rutorrent 3.9 RPC port: USERNAME.lw814.usbx.me/RPC2 Path to completed torrent files: /home35/USERNAME/files/completed/ (using auto unpack to split files into /completed/series & completed/movies)
  3. Decided to go the Seedbox route, using ultraseedbox that comes with OpenVPN, but it sounds like i dont really need to set up a VPN at all for seedboxing
  4. So i just got a nord VPN account, I want to only use the VPN for my torrent dockers (binhex deluge/qbit), can anyone point me to what I need to do to get this going? I've been playing with my first unraid server build for a few months now, but im still pretty fresh. I just want to mask my torrent traffic without interfering with my plex server and other streaming services on my network or basically anything else other than the torrent client I see qbit binhex docker settings has some fields for VPN access, but not deluge. EDIT: Oh i think i just need the binhex deluge vpn docker? Is there anything else I need to do or is there a "best practice" way? EDIT 2: maybe I jumped the gun here too quick and should have considered a seedbox instead, learning as I go!
