Just in case anyone else have this issue, here is how i fixed it. Edit the Plex Docker image, switch to advanced then:
CPU Pinning: Limit the amount of cores Plex have access to
Extra Parameters: Limit how much memory Plex have access to by adding: --memory=16G
I can still see the errors in the logfiles from time to time, but Unraid is not crashing.

Just to follow up. Spend two weeks testing anything from reinstalling Plex, a thousand bios tweaks, changing RAM etc.
Everything came down to a faulty Qbittorrent - changing to binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn:4.5.5-1-02 and everything is stable now.

Plex serves the whole household, and turning it off for a week would make someone upset 😀 But if im not able to find a solution, I would need to do just that.
So you are quite positive that it is Plex that are taking down the whole server?

I am not sure what you mean. I have attached diagnostics, and pasted output from /logs/syslog from the flash-drive (from the time the crash happened)

A few times a week im seeing crashes - I think it started after updated Unraid a few versions ago, but im not 100% sure. I did enable log-fil mirror to flash, and have attached it here. I hope someone would be kind to look into it.

Maybe your Mac is doing a spotlight index of your drives?

Hi all, I’ve been going through the manual and forums, but haven’t really found an answer to my questions yet.
During the last week i have been configuring my tower with 1x2tb and SSD cache. The 2tb is empty, and all docker and VM lives on my SSD (i uset the mover function)
Tomorrow I will get a ton of HDDs, and the 2tb have to go. How do i replace the 2tb drive with the new drives and at the same time migrate from xfs to btrfs?

For anyone tempting to do this, don’t! I did it today and have various issues afterwards (dockers that can’t write to the file system, automatic recreation of user shares etc. )

All of a sudden my mouse don't work anymore through in the VNC/browser. I can use the keyboard, but mouse don't work (I can see the curser) It works perfect in my Windows VM.
Any ideas?

Ive tried to copy a file on my unraid with cp -a --preserve=xattr source destination - but the tags will still be stripped. Do I need to install anything specific to make this work?

Hi all,
Im about to migrate all my work to a brand new Unraid setup, coming from Synology.
The thing holding my back is that whenever I copy or move a file around my server with a Mac OSX tag ("label") it gets stripped. I've also tried to copy tagged files through NFS and SMB from my Synology and Mac - all files gets stripped of their tags. Seems like I can maintain the tags if I just leave them on the share on Unraid - but im guessing I will run into trouble when using cache drives, and im loosing the flexibility to move things around with Krusader and stuff.
Does this anything to do with missing xattr?
Are there any ways to get around this?

I just tried mounting the share on the Synology through SMB - same problem, everything is exposed to guests on the network, when browsing the Unraid-server.

Hi there,
Been searching all over the place for this issue, but can't find an answer.
On Unraid I added a few Remote NFS Shares from my Synology. I give access to this through my Synology by squash root to admin.
Everything works great. The problem is that when im browsing my Unraid-server from my Mac, I can see all those shares - even guests on my network have read/write access to them.
How can I turn this off? I don't won't those shares to be exposed through SMB on the Unraid-server.
