  1. Today I was running rsync and when I got home my drive that has my docker images and VM's is gone. It shows the serial number under "historical devices". I have rebooted the server but nothing. I have no idea what my next move is. I would appreciate if someone could help guide me. I pulled the drive and reseated it. (NVME type) everything back to normal. hopefully this will help someone.
  2. I was messing with the settings trying to add another path. now it shows up as a orphaned image. i deleted the orphaned image and went to CA to reinstall it. but it still says it can not start. is there somewhere i can manually take out what i put in? upon reinstall from the previous apps this is the error i get Starting binhex-radarr binhex-radarr failed to start. You should install it by itself to fix the errors Error response from daemon: No such container: binhex-radarr Error: failed to start containers: binhex-radarr running the script to fix the dangling images after i had deleted the orphan image seems to have fixed it.
  3. Yea, I set a vm to all cores and maxed out the processor with prime95. I never hear my fans move. This just seems odd to me. I am going to let it run for 15 or 20 mins. temps start out around 31/32c and get to 43/46c but a fan never moves. Maybe I dont understand ASUS mobo fan settings. 4. Asus Z10PE-D16 WS Dual Intel Xeon E5-2630v4 Dual Cooler master hyper 212 evo w. 2 fans each. 6 case fans. When running I can barely hear the fans. I then will see temps go from 31c to 41c but I never hear a difference is the fans. I have went into the bios and set the fans at 100% and the temps dropped back down. Is there any downside to this? How can I be sure that if I set my fans back in auto that they are being controlled and ramping up / down correctly? I have tried the plugins for auto fan control but could not get it to do anything. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. perfect. that worked. now all my settings are still there aswell. how is that? guessing they are stored somewhere else? also guessing it is now safe to delete the old docker .img from the other location?
  6. attached is the diagnostics file that was downloaded. tower-diagnostics-20200427-1136.zip
  7. Right sorry i was mention the location before the move. So i have moved it to the unassigned drive. and now it says error docker failed to start. /mnt/disks/Samsung_SSD_970_EVO_1TB_S5H9NC0MC07775W/docker/docker.img
  8. I got UNRAID up and running after reading a few posts I seen that a few people said it is better to have your VM's and Dockers running on another drive that is unassigned. I successfully got my VM moved over to the SSD. Now I can not figure out how to move the docker .img. I copy it over to the location and changed the location in the settings but when I enabled docker it wasnt running. /mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img = Docker current location.
  9. Very new to UNRAID so please bear with me. I am trying to achieve multiple VM machines on multiple vlans. eg vm1 on vlan 100, vm2 on vlan 200. I have went to network settings and added a vlan 100. IP assignement = none. Bridging is enabled. now when i go the the vm and edit the vm nic setting to br0.100 it just hangs. Vlans network side are working and setup correctly. I am on the latest version on UNRAID. Do I need to add something to the routing table? Exactly what I needed to do. added 172.16.100.1 and selected br0.100 from the drop down menu. Now I was able to select the br0.100 in the nic settings of the VM. Looks like I have answered my own question. Hopefully this is here for someone in the future.
  10. 1st time setup unraid. i havnt even got the key installed and i see a error on my m2 drive says "CRC error count" should i be concerned with this? 970 EVO 1TB EDIT: SMART extended self-test completed without error.
