    Hello, I'm reviving this topic as I face kind of the same situation. I have 2 parity drives; slot1 = 8To : historically in array for a while slot2 = 16To : newly added to the array as I wanted to then be able to add another 16To drive as data in array Can I safely and forever run only with Parity2 16To and parity1 unassigned ? Thank you for your help !
