Thanks Alex for the help. Sorry for the slow response it's been a crazy weekend. I will look into it it sounds like it would work. I was gonna use the server a "central" place to have them incase. Your way sounds easier. Now I just have to figure out how to make it work. Thanks again for the help.

I'm sorry I know this is probably simple but I'm just learning. Like the title says I need to automatically sync two pcs with a share on my unraid server. I play farming sim 19 and it's a pain to download mods to my main pc then move them to the server then copy from the server to the second pc. Or if anyone has a different option that I would help I want to learn. I googled but didn't really understand how to do some (most) of the stuff I found. If I have left anything out that might help come up with a solution please ask and I will do my best to answer. Thanks for any help you might be able to give. Charlie

I am new to computers. A friend of mine has seen my interest and is helping me get started. He has given me enough extra parts to build a pc, it is the one that I am writing this on. He also gave me a dell r510 with a paid copy of UNRAID. I would like to start with a fresh install of UNRAID. I'm not sure how to go about it. I've googled and could not really find any info on how to. The key is in his name and I don't really want to bother him asking any more questions. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Charlie

Yes all the drives but one came with the server.

I have started to try to learn computers a little. A friend of mine gave me a dell r510 server with a copy of unraid on it to try to learn some. I keep having problems getting things done and feel bad for asking him all the time for help. I was hoping that I could find some help here to get me pointed in the right direction. I have formatted and started the array but all the drives except the parity drives say unmountable. I don't know how to get them mounted. I was trying to add a share and it would not let me. In all my limited knowledge i think it is the unmountable drives is whats causing the problems with shares, but unsure. For some reason I am unable to add 2 disk to my array. I have been thinking about doing a "clean" install of Unraid just to be able to start fresh and hopefully get rid of some problems. I am running version 6.8.3 - I upgraded it the other day. I have added the diagnostics zip file but I was not sure if that is what I was supposed to do. If you have any questions or need anything please ask I will do my best to answer them.
