  3. Will this work with Blu-ray?

  5. My dad's HD just died on his pc. This would have been the perfect tool to have in place.
  6. Thats a typo on my part. I mean to say that I used "WordPad" to edit the file. I just checked, booth of the zip files attached to this thread have only linefeed characters. Somehow, when you edited the file, whatever editor you used added the carriage returns. "WordPad" has a "Save As Text" and also a "Save As MS-Dos Text" You don't want to save as a MS-DOS text, as it will certainly add the carriage returns. As Tom indicated, usually "WordPAd" will detect the linefeed chars and not add carriage returns. In any case, since you used the "tr" command to get rid of the extra characters it does not matter. Most importantly, does your installed e-mail notification now work? Joe L. When I run "smtp_check_unraid.sh" it gives me an unrecognized domain name. I still received the e-mail so I am not sure this is an issue. It will only alert you if there is an issue correct?
  7. Thats a typo on my part. I mean to say that I used "WordPad" to edit the file.
  8. Joe, I did use word to edit the file. I used the set of commands in your last msg and that fixed the error message. Thanks
  9. I followed the install steps but I get the following error when running the test: root@Tower:/boot# smtp_check_unraid.sh -bash: ./smtp_check_unraid.sh: /bin/bash^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory Any ideas?
  10. Just received mine today. So far so good.

  12. I already had a MG-35 and it worked well. I needed to add another location in my house so I went with XBMC. To say the least I am very impressed. I made the XBOX boot directly to XBMC and the IMDB function is sweet. My girlfriend was impressed, so now we are all happy.
  13. Tom, I just upgraded from beta1 to beta2. I was unable to copy those to files to the server. XP said files in use. So I just shutdown and removed the flash. The upgrade went well and I am back online. I will do some stream testing this weekend. Thanks for the update!
  14. U3 are some utils Sandisk puts on the flash key from the factory. If you follow Tom's instructions to do a quick format or the HP format it will wipe these files from the flash key.
  15. Tom, What is WAF? Just curious as I have a MG-35.
  16. Tom, Thanks for taking the time to verify my issue and I am glad that I am not losing my mind.
  17. Currently the last Hard Drive is connected to the Controller card closest to the CPU. Maybe I am misunderstanding something but the way I have it configured should work, correct?
  18. Heres my dilema.. I am using Intel D865GLCLK motherboard with (2) Hardrives on the Primary IDE and (2) Hardrives on the Secondary IDE Channels on the Motherboard. The drive names are fine. Parity, Disk1 , Disk2 , Disk3. I have (1) Ultra133 TX2 PCI disk controller card, and (1) Ultra100 TX2 PCI disk controller card. If I connect 1 harddrive to the Ultra133 TX2 PCI disk controller card (which is in my first PCI slot) on the Primary Channel It displays as Disk8. Does anyone know why this is happening? I want to add (2) more 300G IDE drives and I dont want the drive letters as Disk9 and Disk10.

  20. What Gigabit switches are you guys using? For media streaming from the UnRaid server, is the memory buffer per switch port very important?
  21. I see they have these online http://www.outpost.com for $89.99 with free shipping. Only 1 per household.
  22. Fast response...they are overnighting a replacement tomorrow. Thats fast service. I dont plan on touching the server, but it would be good to keep the USB flash in the inside of the case.
