  1. I asked on the 45HomeLab forums the following but received no response, hopefully I get better luck here:

So I’m looking to upgrade my server to an 45homelab 8-bay model when they come out (or several months after, not sure)

My current server is running unRAID. I have 5 6TB hard drives (almost all full and one is parity) and a 1TB NVME SSD. My case is very problematic to work with and it needs a new PSU.

With the new server I would be using 18TB drives.

Has anyone else tried unRAID on their 45HomeLab server? How did it go?

When you hit Apply on the Docker edit screen, what does the resulting pop-up show for text?

Could this be related to the empty fields in the Plex Docker config improperly being populated as ":" or something and causing the Docker to fail to create.  I remember seeing something like that earlier in this thread and I think the solution was to either "Remove" the empty variables you aren't using, or just put in some dummy paths in there.

Luckily form the Docker Tab and click "Add Container" at the bottom, you should have a drop-down list of your previously configured Dockers so you can re-select the Plex one and make changes as required.

So you are saying I should run the add command with the parameters I entered in above and see how it goes?

Read the first post in the Docker Patch support thread - should get you back up and running.

So I have an add container open for the Plex Docker: 1527872129_Screenshot2024-02-26at11_11_56AM.thumb.jpg.c8958a1d4e1000bd002a81167ffbdc22.jpg

This is what I have set up currently. I have not committed yet. Are you saying I just leave all the parameters alone (erase everything I have put in above) and create the docker? Or is what I have set up above required to restore my data?

  4. Hello!

I followed the instructions here: https://old.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/1abxn3i/upgrading_to_linuxserverio/

I cannot access the webui for the new unifi-network-application container (there is no option to enter a webui and going to it manually results nothing) and mongodb doesn't have any data going to it. There is no data in the databases.

    Help?

    EDIT1: I have a http error code 404 on port 8443/manage

Log shows: *** Waiting for MONGO_HOST 192.168.1.183 to be reachable. ***

EDIT: I am getting authentication errors in mongodb for user "unifi." I literally copied this exactly from the post I mentioned above:

    db.getSiblingDB("unifidb").createUser({user: "unifi", pwd: "password123", roles: [{role: "dbOwner", db: "unifidb"}]});

    db.getSiblingDB("unifidb_stat").createUser({user: "unifi", pwd: "password123", roles: [{role: "dbOwner", db: "unifidb_stat"}]});

Logs show "could not find user unifi for db unifi"

Where do I go from here?

    More logging below from mongodb.

FINAL EDIT: I tried some stuff and it worked.

Do you mean the help doesn't answer your questions? Or do you mean you don't know how to access the help?

"Or do you mean you don't know how to access the help?" This is what I mean, I guess.

Have you read the help on the Settings page for the plugin?

I have combed this page to death and haven't found anything for help whatsoever. I am at a loss. I really want to make this work.

The plugin doesn't start containers that weren't already started, so what's the problem?

That is good to know. I need a step by step guide on how to configure this [REDACTED] plugin!

  8. Yes I do require further help. I am completely lost. I literally need a video on how to use this version of AppData backup.

There are some dockers I wish to keep backed up but don't want them turned on during the backup process. The dockers since have been deprecated by the developers and may conflict with ones I DO USE.

    Thanks!

In the repository field type a colon after the existing text followed by the tag number for the version you want installed. You can get the tag numbers from the dockerhub link in the first post.

So for version 4.5.4 I would put in tag "4.5.4-1-03" after "binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn?"

  10. I usually get notifications that my array is heathy.

I click them in the top right corner to dismiss them.

The bell icon on the top right of the screen is green.

I have to go into notifications in the bell icon, tell it to view notifications, and dismiss them again.

Once this is done, the bell turns white.

I hope I'm making sense, I don't know how to describe it otherwise.
