Hi all
I have a question regarding hardware NIC Realtek RTL8111B in Unraid. When I copy files from network shares around the network speed drops then picks up again using the RTL8111B card machine if I copy from any broadcom or intel based NIC the transfer is rock solid at 114 MB/s which is the limit. Anybody have any comments to add.

what about transferring using the mover is it any quicker moving files from the NVME to Unraid drive array. Also due to the speed I find my Crucial P5 overheats so thinking of trying a lesser spec NVME drive to see if the speed reduction reduces the overheating.

Does anyone wish to comment on which speed or revision NVME drive produce good results or does it matter if it’s PCIE 3 or 4 make much difference in Unraid

What if you have 2 SSD drives as cached pool I want to do something similar but add NVME drive so can I remove one of the BTRFS SSD to simulate a failure then add the NVME as a drive to rebuild to then remove the other SSD after the NVME has finished its rebuild and add a further NVME to rebuild from the new NVME to second NVME having a pool of 2 x NVME Cache pools.

Hi guys nice info I have set my appdata to cache only but still have host folders across my array can I just shutdown docker and change the host files path in the settings and restart dockers

I would like to ask is there any detriment to the unraid array when the server is configured to go to s3 sleep mode rather than having it running 24 / 7 this is purely a cost saving approach one I am thinking of implementing.

Thanks for replying I got it fixed by using the latest backup from a few months prior. I did a rebuild on the disk I had replaced some time ago and that took me back to ver 6.8.1 which I then upgraded community apps after changing to a valid gateway as I could not get to the internet then updated to 6.9.1 and setting up My Server to backup flash to the forum cloud so my flash now has a current backup and this will be updated on a regular basis. Thanks everyone for looking and any replies and I hope this helps someone else in the future.

I lost my flash drive long story so silly but there you go. I have a backup from a few months ago since then I have changed a drive. When I boot from restored flash drive it says problem with drive 6 which is the drive I replaced. The new drive is in the list of drives but unraid wants to rebuild from parity can I go ahead and not loose data. Help appreciated.

I am doing this right now it is still showing sync errors. I was planning on upgrading the parity drive so I could add a bigger disk to Unraid.

Interesting this did not happen on my Intel motherboard but I do not have non standard RAM config. I will investigate further

Hi All
Sorry if this has been covered. My parity check the last couple of times which runs every Sunday morning has started showing 47 errors, is this due to drives spinning down and I plan replacing the parity drive will the errors disappear. I am a newbie here so help is appreciated. Diagnostics attached.

Hi I may have deleted some files by mistake on my appdata plex docker and now plex will not connect in the webui. How can I do a clean plex docker install to get everything working again. Thanks in advance.

My unraid config is screwed up after a cache drive fail. I have very little in the way of apps or dockers installed. How can I move the disk config and parity to a clean usb install and move my serial registration to a new usb boot of unraid. Thanks in advance newbie.

I am new to this sort of thing but I need a server for my photos to be able to pull http web links in to a forum similar to what Flickr does. Can anyone suggest a docker program to do this for photographs that can allow browsing to add the links
