Thank you, this worked for me, now I see the driver being used (I have a 5900x) by running the cpufreq-info command and I saw drops in temps right away.
Great, did you notice any change in idle power consumption ?
Following upgrade to 6.12.0-rc2 from 6.11.5 I have a 5W increase with the same setup and configuration (powertop, ...).

Anyone else having issues with AMD pstates after this update? I get system lockups while the server is not doing anything like I used to when Ryzen systems first came out. They had gone away and have now come back with this build.
You have to pass amd_pstate=passive at boot to enable it. Just tested it myself.

I'm waiting for the final release to upgrade.
What cpufreq-info tells you ? is the driver amd-pstate used ?

Does the 6.1.19 kernel includes the amd-pstate-epp driver for better power management (https://www.phoronix.com/news/AMD-P-State-EPP-Linux) ?

OK, files removed.
I'll post an update if the UI goes weird again.

I can't access this part of the UI anymore, any clue on how to do it by command line ?
Can I safely clean the /boot/config/plugins from any files related to those two ?

Didn't know we needed to add it. But we got into the next release for you.
If you could add the Asus WMI driver it would be great !

Since RC4 is now out can anyone confirm if the gigabyte driver is now present in the kernel?
find /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/drivers/ -iname "*gigabyte*"
Hi, I just checked in my server who's running RC4 and the driver is not there : the command return nothing.
I share you pain, I'm waiting for the Asus WMI driver which is staged in kernel 5.16.
Unraid OS version 6.12.0-rc2 available

Got my 5W back, PCIe ACS override was at disabled, I put it back to both so that powertop could do its magic.
it has to be added to the default entry in your syslinux.cfg. You can edit it by clicking on your flash drive in the Main dashboard.
