  1. If you really just want to block entire domains, then pihole is the easiest way to go (especially since you already have it set up.) I'd add a regex entry of something like youtube\.com$ to block everything from youtube.com and all subdomains. You could probably also just blacklist www.youtube.com and youtube.com and get essentially the same effect. If, however, you want to filter on actual URLs (vs domains) then pihole can't help, and you'll need to look elsewhere. Hope that helps, matt
  2. OK, thanks. I do have my key from (from 2013). I'll keep looking for my backups too...i may still be able to track it down.
  3. Hi all - In the haste to get my computers cleaned out of the basement before a recent move, I spun my Unraid machine around 90 degrees to unplug the rear cords, and completely smashed the USB drive which was sticking out the back of the unit. I know that I have a backup somewhere of the config, but can't seem to locate it anywhere at the moment. Fortunately, my Unraid 6 setup is just about stock, so I will have very little re-configuration to do. I do thankfully have a list of my drives from my weekly "array health report" email. I plan to acquire a new USB drive, install a fresh Unraid 6 copy on it, and plug it to my server. I'll then activate the new USB drive via the GUI. I'll have to re-configure the drives that it has detected, which I'll do by following the table below. Am I missing anything? Does it matter what was on my cache drive previously, or what plugins I had set up? I assume I can just blast it all away and start over. thanks for any input, or reassurance! 5. hi - thanks very much for the quick response. it looks like that fixed 50% of my problem (instead of two different errors, I'm now just getting this one). 11. ok, thanks for the help. Will do. Question - is it likely that this drive will continue to have problems? Or can this procedure fix things up "good as new"? As I mentioned, I do have another drive that is precleared and ready to go, and I could just swap that one in and let unraid rebuild it. If it's likely that going through this will get things back to normal, then that's fine. However, I'm just wondering if it's worth the effort if it's still going to be a problem drive. I know you don't have a crystal ball; just looking for gut reaction. thanks again, Matt
  12. OK, it's running now and seeming to correct things. What will be the next step(s) when it's done?
  13. Hi - thanks. I captured as much of the output as I could. The first part was lost (couldn't scroll back far enough to get it), but hopefully the last part is what you need. Matt reiserfsck.txt
  14. I have a problem that appears virtually identical to this one: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=36623.msg340350#msg340350 However, i didn't end up replacing the drive, but since it passed a long smart test, i decided to rebuild the drive. It seemed ok for the first couple of days, but now i have come to see that there is a whole share that's empty (that is, the share reports 0 files, but when i navigate to each of my 5 drives, i can see the files on each). I had thought that i needed to replace the drive, so i bought a spare and can swap it in right away if needed. I following the guidance in the link above, first trying to reset the the permissions (didn't help.) I then restarted the array in maintenance mode and ran the "reiserfsck --check /dev/md2" command. Output attached. (it's actually still running, but the output is clear to me that there is a problem.) so...any thoughts if this drive is just borked and should be tossed? Or is there anything to do to try to fix it? I assume that I can drop in a new replacement drive and i'll render these errors moot, but please let me know if i need to do anything when swapping drives to get things to work right. thanks Matt syslog-2015-02-04.zip reiserfsck.txt
  15. I'm attaching the SMART reports for the two drives after running through 2 parity checks. Those parity checks were finished with no sync errors reported. I haven't upgraded to the 5.05 version, but will try that today if i have a few minutes. thanks again for the input. Parity_Disk0_new.txt Data_Disk4_new.txt
