So it seems to see my sensors.  But when I run the "sensors" command I get these errors:

I have the same issue with the B550 Taichi and the temp plugin. I haven't been able to find a solution, I am now considering swapping my PC and NAS motherboards to test if I get more luck with Asus.

  2. Hello,

Thank you for your awesome plugins. Everything was working as intended in my system until I upgraded hadrware. Now the System Temp and S3 Sleep have somme issues.

    OLD HARD: R3 Pro 2200GE + Asus TUF B450M Pro S + Corsair TX750M

    NEW HARD: R7 Pro 4750G + Asrock B550 Taichi + Corsair RM650i

Now, the System Temp plugin detect eberything at first, but when I click on save all the sensors disappear. But the big issue for me is the S3 sleep plugins, the system doesn't wake up correctly, some cores are stuck at 100% usage and I can't access the array even if the GUI works.

Any idea of what I can do to solve these issues?

Curious if you try a full duplex socket (supported by iperf 2) Use iperf -c dst -i 1 --full-duplex (man page here)

    --full-duplex
run a full duplex test, i.e. traffic in both transmit and receive directions using the same socket

I will try this and update. For now I have been able to get 2.5gbps download by deactivating bridging, but my VMs are left without LAN (using an USB Wifi for now).

Correct, you can re-enable bridging and everything should work as it usually does.

Sorry, I am really lost here. I think I have missed something.

With these settings, I get 1 gbps download and 2.5 gbps upload.

And with these settings, I get 2.5 gbpsboth ways.

Thank you for helping me here it's really appreciated.

Go into Settings > Network Settings > Routing Table, then add a route pointing your local subnet (192.168.0.0/24 in my case) to br0.

It should look like that when you're done. There will be other routes for your docker subnets, as well as ipv6 if applicable. Just leave those alone.

Thank you a lot. So with this setting no need ti disable the bridging? For now I am testing with bridging to No and my speed is 2.5 2-ways, but like you I have some dockers and vms.

That confirms it's a LAN problem, and it's a know issue with some Realtek NICs, they are only fast in one direction.

    https://forums.unraid.net/topic/123594-poor-ssd-cache-read-speed-25gbe/

Wow, Intel 2.5GbE NIC is faulty (every model, even the V3 with the pretended hardware fix...isn't fixed) and Realtek one have this issue.

So I just have to forget about any motherboard native 2.5 NIC and get myself a PCIe card like the Intel X540?

In the other topic the solution is:

But I don't relaly dunerstand the subnet part, I will try now with the bridging disabled to see it it works.

The subnet route did the trick. For whatever reason br0 is slow for reads only, so strange. Maybe it's the Realtek 2.5Gbe NIC, or perhaps something with my config. So stoked that it's fixed! I spent a bit of money on 2.5Gbe / 4TB SSD's and it was disappointing for it to make no difference.

I have the same issue, if possible, can you please explain in details how you did solve it (I don't really understand the subnet part). This would help a lot of people like me who avoid Intel 2.5GbE nic known for its issues just to get this.

  8. Hello there,

I have been doing some Lan test this week and found something weird. After using some dockers in Unraid to test Lan speed (SpeedTest-By-OpenSpeedTest and another one), I found that my "Download" speed is capped to 1Gbps when my "Upload" speed is around 2.5 Gbps.

    This is my actual setup:

    - Unraid server running on a B550 mobo with the Realtek 2.5Gb Lan running at 2.5 full duplex.

    - Main desktop with Marvell AQC111C (5GbE running at 2.5 full duplex).

    - Secondary desktop with the infamous Intel 1225-v running at 2.5 full duplex.

    - Everything connected to a 2.5 GbE switch.

    - Switch connected to the router for internet.

    - Everything is showing 2.5 Gbps software side.

I don't understand, since I am on a 2.GbE setup, I think my speed should be 2.5GbE both ways, I don't know if it's related to hardware or software.

What do you think? Any solution? Is it normal?!

    Thank you for reading.

  9. Hi there,

I have been struggling with a weird issue in my server for the last week, I think it started after updating from 6.9.3 to 6.10.3, but I am not really sure (I don't check the logs usually). The log is filling with errors from one of my computers in the network, and only this one (I have 2 desktops and 1 laptop). After a few days, I decided to reset everything and clean install windows in the computer causing the error and, after I finished configuring everything, installing my softs...etc I got the errors in the log again (Attached image 1).

So I have been checking the log for the whole day (what a nice Sunday ^^) and, at least, I have figured that this time, unlike before reinstalling windows, the error is only triggered by Bitdefender Total Security scanning hkey_users s-1-5-21-xxxxxx (Attached image 2). Again, this is only happening with the same computer, the weird thing is that my 2 desktops have 100% similar settings/software installed, the difference being AMD vs intel (intel being the one filling the log). Running a scan with Bitdefender in the AMD computer doesn't trigger the log error.

I have added a new drive and moved a few shares to it this week, so I don't know if I can roll back safely to 6.9.3 to check if the issue will be gone. I can also restore an image of my windows installation created just after the clean install, but for now I am not doing either until I got other people advices.

What do you think? Any idea of what's causing those errors? And why on 1 computer only?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

  10. Hi there,

Planning this build for an Unraid NAS + Windows 10 VM. I have searched for weeks about the topic but still have some unanswered questions, hope I will get more chance here.

The NAS usage will be normal file server (planning to reach 60 Tb not counting parity) , and the Win10 VM will be used for Digital art software (Clip Studio Paint) with a Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 (this device support touch functions). I want to use ECC memory, and I am concerned about USB and GPU passthrough, latest Nvidia drivers and stuff.

    The parts:

    • CPU: Ryzen 5 3600/3600x - Ryzen 7 2700/2700x. Used 2nd gen Ryzen is the same price as new 3rd gen, which one is better? Especially concerned about motherboard choice and ECC compatibility.

    • MB: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI). ECC support is listed with Ryzen 3000. Nothing about the 2000 series. Does anyone know if this board REALLY support ECC functions? I mean not just running the rams but running them with their error detecting/correcting function. Any other tested board?

    • ECC RAM: KSM26ED8/16ME. Only ECC memory present on QVL of Asus and Asrock motherboards that list support of ECC.

    • HBA: LSI 6Gbps SAS HBA Fujitsu D2607-A21 FW:P20 9211-8i IT Mode. Cheapest 8i HBA card I have been able to find. Should I be wary of something?

    • Cables: SAS to SATA. Regular 1 SAS to 4 SATAs cables.

What do you think? Any feedback will be appreciated.

    Thanks for reading.
