  1. That is too bad that mac os VM is slow and sounds like a pain to get going.. Would be so cool to have two desktops (both mac and win) going at the same time and getting the best of both...
  2. Im surprised more people havnt responded... I would think the idea of a base OS and then using Dockers for whatever os you want would be cool.. Stable-- safe.. Setup correctly right out of the box.. Shoulder shrug..
  3. So ill start off by thinking UnRaid should become a "Base" os... What does this mean? Its a OS that runs everything as it does now and then i can use various dockers to create the computer of my dreams(running both windows and ios on a linux stable system).. My thought is this... I like linux/unraid as my base OS... Ive had great luck so far with unraid and its not crashed so for for me... Plus i can add more HD's and have all the good things UR brings to the table... I need a Windows based OS for my trading app... I also would like a ios computer for my daily driver-- just cause i have a apple phone and would love to bring ios messenger to my desk top.. If this combo was stable-- this would be Awesome... Ok on to my main question-- relates to above.. Ive always wanted a linux based computer cause they seem to offer the best security and stability.. But having to know all the coding and line commands and things just was a bit of a pain... I have a windows based computer (ltsc) and it runs well , but we all know windows isnt the most secure.. Id also "like" to have a ios based computer cause of my desire for messenger on my desktop... Are the docker containers that do OS's (windows or IOS) as stable as a regular windows or ios computer? Do you find that the docker containers crash more or are they actually more stable since they have all the bloatware and forced updates turned off? My thoughts is a cake and eat it too situation... Linux or unraid as the base stable OS.. Winboat or win based docker, for a windows based os.. And ios docker for ios.. All running at the same time (stout computer).. I know winboat and or the win docker is supposed to use very little resources.. Same with linux. (we all know what they say about assuming) im assuming the ios runs pretty lean too.. That this would make my goldie lox computer.. Stable, can run my windows trading app and also have a ios driver for messenger and just ios ease of life.. Do-able?
