  1. Serach: Cheap/Good Drive Cages for 3,5" HDDs in 5,25"

    Hallo, has anyone recommendations for drive cages for four till five 3,5" HDDs, that fit in 3x5,25". It would be nice if there is a fan also assembled. Or would it be better in your opinion to buy older/used backplanes? Even if hotswap is not needed.

    Hallo Zusammen, könnte ich ein Unraid-Backup System mit folgender vorhandener Hardware vernünftig aussetzten? Asus C60M1-I Mainboard mit AMD C-60 APU (2 x 1 GHz) 4 GB RAM Es sollten 6 Festplatten mit einfacher Parity laufen. Die Größe des Pools sollte netto am Ende ca. 20 TB sein. Falls ihr der Meinung seid, dass das so nicht wirklich eine gute Idee ist, dann bitte offen sagen, dass das nix vernünftiges werden kann. Dann muss ich sehen, ob ich neuere HW erstehen kann!
