  1. Did you ever find out? . . in same situation
  2. Disregard, I ended up installing 6.x from the esxi thread and using partition manager to backup/reformat/reinstall all my USB information. Either way, we seem to be up and running again. . .
  3. My old case was a rack mountable server with 12 bays, I have since well outgrown that and was attempting to migrate my hardware into a Dell tower with much better airflow (drives are in a separate Chassis). Dells layout was too specific and I couldnt make it work so I was forced to re-install everything in the original case. Now when I boot ESXi the unraid hangs on the PLOP boot loader. Sometimes there will be a message saying the "Bootsector is the MBR", sometimes it will try to boot the ESXi Flash drive, and other times it wont recognize anything. I have checked and both the USB controller and that specific flash are being forwarded. My other windows based Plex image seems to be unaffected. I would appreciate any ideas on how to move forward. I have tried putting the usb in varying locations (thinking ESXi may have originally forwarded based off hardware location) but that didnt have any effect. When I look at the USB in windows (hoping to make a backup of the USB/view config) I can see the partitions in Disk Manager but cannot assign drive letters or do anything with it., though I thought at one point I could. I don't mind upgrading to 6.0 (Currently on 5.?? beta from late 2011) if I need to but I really would like to save the config information of the existing flash and not rebuild the array (~40TB) from scratch as many of the drives are nearing 5yrs. Thank you all for your help. Hardware: Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme3 CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black RAM: 16Gb GSkill Power: SeaSonic 350w Server PS NIC: Intel EXPI9301CT OS Drive: Sandisk 120GB SSD The following Drives are in a dedicated, powered Storage Array connected via SAS to controller card. Parity Drive: 4TB HGST Cache: 300GB Raptor Storage Array: ~14 Varying 3+4Tb drives, Mainly WD Red & HGST
  4. I cannot move file off this drive. . . every time I try to access it it locks up. Any ideas??
  5. I was stagnant at ~95-98%capacity for two months as my new HDD array (empty) was ordered/mis-shipped/Faulty/RMD'd. Once I got that up and running and added (2) 2TB HDD and (1)4 4TB I started to migrate all my shows recorded since. I also too the opportunity of the new space to fill the holes in my backlogged shows. I guess that in doing this Unraid over-filled two of my old drives past capacity (now they are reading 100%). I assuming this is because I have the folder structure setup to keep TV Show seasons together. Either way the Mover locked up today and I had no access to the Unraid menu or the shares. I attempted to manually perform a clean shutdown via telnet ut three drives were "busy" and I could not get them unlocked. I did a hard reboot and after a while I noticed my shares came back online and I have access to UnMenu. I still do not have access to the default menu though (have tried kill emhttp with no success). Once my parity check is done is it possible to simply move the files from their respective directories on their old drives to the new drives to clear space? Also, I have been reading about setting a minimum free space limit. I believe I have this on my cache drive but did not see the settings on my normal drives. Can I change this from UnMenu or is that setting only in the factory menu. Thank you for any help or insight you can provide on this issue.
