  1. Thanks @JorgeB I'll get this addressed ASAP. As always, I appreciate your guidance.
  2. unRAID support team, On my server, I've had two disks throw S.M.A.R.T. notifications about read errors. Disks 12 and 14 alerted. I ran extended reports and nothing looked concerning to me, however, I trust the forum and the experts more than "my Googling". Attached are my diagnostics. Please let me know the state of drives on my server and if I have need to be concerned. Thank you! rock-storage1-diagnostics-20241223-2211.zip
  3. Regarding the plug and play, that's okay. Half my array is presently empty. I'll find a way to make this work. I appreciate the feedback.
  4. @JorgeB I appreciate the reply. I hadn't noticed it having the issue previously. My parity checks always used to finish. I had some followup questions. 1. Can I get parity checks to finish? (Is there a workaround) 2. Can I validate that parity is valid by it just getting to 100% (In case I need to rebuild a drive) 3. If there are NO workarounds and parity will never be valid, what's our most supported HBA presently? I'll spend money for good support. And what's my best guide on rebuilding the array? Can you shoot me a link to the article I need to keep my current data intact? I'll make it work over a vacation of mine.
  5. I had a parity check that had been stuck at 100% for quite some time earlier this month. Here is a screenshot I took from when that was occurring: From my syslog it looked like the following was happening roughly every 5 minutes. Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdm: sdm1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdk: sdk1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdg: sdg1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdj: sdj1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdh: sdh1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdd: sdd1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sde: sde1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdb: sdb1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdf: sdf1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdc: sdc1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdn: sdn1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdq: sdq1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdp: sdp1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdl: sdl1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdo: sdo1 Oct 31 14:08:21 rock-storage1 kernel: sdi: sdi1 I shut my server down, re-seated my HBAs, re-seated all my cables, and restarted my server. The issue persists. Attached are diagnostics files pre and post-reboot for review (in case anything has changed). I'm not sure what is causing this issue and was hoping I could gain some guidance from the forum. I have another parity check running currently, but I expect it to get to 100% and stall again. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide. rock-storage1-diagnostics-20241030-1501.zip rock-storage1-diagnostics-20241031-1417.zip
