  2. Seems like safe mode it's booting up after I force stop it. Any ideas what needs to be fixxed here?
  3. OK, I re-watched all the vids to make sure. I've got a windows vm up and running, still running ovf though. Then dumped my own bios and added it in and tried the pass through. Now what happens now is that I can see the Tiano Core and the spinner spinning for a bit then it hangs. On the logs, there's no errors anymore. So re-install windows for a seabios setup?
  4. Hi guys, I'm having trouble setting this up. Here's my story. When I install Unraid, I tried to use the Unraid GUI but nothing shows up on the monitors. No issues, I set it up as a text console, and it gets booted up fine. When I create a new windows VM, 16GB Ram, using all the 8 cores, Q35-5.1, OMVF ... I use VNC first and install, snappy and fast install. I run Ryzen 3700X 8 Cores. After which I try the GPU pass thru. Selected my graphics card which is the only one I have, Radeon RX580 MSI and then select a VBIOS which I downloaded. Using this : MSI.RX580.8192.190625.rom Now, there were a few of them and I tried a couple but ended up hanging everything. This was the only version that I made it through to the Tianocore logo on the screen. But I can connect to the windows 10 vm via anydesk. Tried best to install the GPU driver there but it was slooooooow as ever. Noticed that there were single cores going to 100%, looked up the forums and tried disabled WSD and put -i br0 flag but still same. Nonetheless I thought it would be all ok after installing the drivers. Downloaded the drivers, went through the detection, all good found the GPU and started installing. After installing it all, it says failed to initialize. Reboot didn't help. Looked at the logs and found that there was a ' Failed to mmap 0000:26:00.0 BAR 0. Performance may be slow' and also the qemu process when looking at 'top' showed high CPU usage. I am thinking the vbios might not have been the best match here. I've spent the past 5 hours doing this so if anyone knows a nicer way to resolve this pass thru issue, please let me know. Thanks.
