  1. hmm... I have been using ipvlan
  2. Hi, Today my system loaded the GUI but multiple of tabs would not load the usual data (dashboard, plugins, and apps). Then the system (booted into GUI) froze. I attached the diagnostics after a hard reset. I see there is a series of Kernel messages at the end, though I am not sure what to do with that. The GUI is operating nominally at this point. Appreciate your help. knox-diagnostics-20231211-2206.zip
  3. Well, it appears that replacing RAM, and confirming the new sticks pass Memtest has stabilized the system. Thanks for your help!
  4. thanks for the tip! Memtest is showing 100s of errors in this brand new RAM and only been running for 2 hours. Next will test with only 1 stick at a time. I'm not sure if the motherboard runs XMP by default because I haven't changed anything.
  5. This time it crashed within 2 hours of startup. The rsyslogd errors are new because I tried to setup a remote log server but it isn't working right now. syslog-previous.txt
  6. Hello, I was running Unraid 6.9.x great for about 2 years on an old Chenbro 1U server with Tyan motherboard. Then a month ago it crashed a few times every few days until the system would not even POST. So I replaced the server with a new 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400, Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE AX DDR4, 32GB RAM, new Corsair CX750M 750W PSU. During the build I dropped my parity HDD (don't do this) and had to replace it because it would not boot on any system anymore. The next boot I was able to get about 88% parity completion and the system froze. I upgraded to 6.12.5. I have tried various other things, the system seems to be stable in GUI and non-GUI safe modes. But once I start up the array, even with Docker disabled and plugins disabled, I can only get about 12 hours before crashing now. I just have no idea how to debug this system which had been wonderful for a long time. Attached is my diagnostics zip. Appreciate any advice! knox-diagnostics-20231201-2011.zip
  7. @jorgeB I agree, but the category is greyed out for me when creating a new topic. Am I missing something?
  8. I am having trouble accessing the unraid GUI within my local network after installing the Tailscale plugin. I can access the unraid share drives fine, and the Tailscale website shows the unraid server as connected as an Exit node with Expiry disabled. The `tower.local` url tries to resolve to my `hash.unraid.net` but fails. I cannot ping `hash.unraid.net` either. What is the best way to stop Tailscale so I can login and try to see what is happening via the GUI? Or if there are better approaches to fix this, I am all ears! Thank you.
  9. @trurl Thanks! I definitely had the meaning of Prefer backwards (i.e. I thought it would write directly to the array if the cache is full -- not the case!). I changed my shares to Yes and the cache is now emptying out.
  10. d-------s = documents d-------s (1) = downloads Thanks! I will also look at the other thread
  11. Hello, My cache SSD has 232/240GB used and is reporting full in the system logs, and the mover is not moving anything off the disk. I have two storage disks both set to "Prefer" cache, though one I changed from Yes to Prefer after the disk filled up. Manually starting the mover yields many of these errors: Dec 8 12:22:47 Knox move: move: file /mnt/disk1/documents/.../06 Pinocchio.m4a Dec 8 12:22:47 Knox shfs: share cache full My dockers are turned off. I ran a balance but that didn't do anything. Appreciate any advice. Thanks!
