  1. Hi All, Weird issue here, wondering if anyone has seen this and possible next steps: (unRAID OS 6.6.7) Plex and Emby both freeze when playing back any file (through their respective web interface) within 2-3 seconds of playback (allowed me to isolate it as not just a Plex issue). SSD Cache pool (2x 1TB SSD) on btrfs. I've balanced the drives, raid scrubbed, and manually trimmed. Issue persists. I've also changed Plex to transcode on the RAM, and verified it's transcoding in the RAM, and still freezes 2-3 seconds after starting playback. SMART (quick) passes on both SSDs. Rebooted server, same issue. No major errors in syslog except ffdetect[13056]: segfault at 38 ip 0000000000403ad8 sp 00007fffaa49c2e0 error 4 in ffdetect[400000+16000] which occurs only at system bootup, and I believe is a plug-in trying to restart the web interface. Any thoughts or suggestions on next steps? EDIT: Weirdness continues - Browser being used is Chrome. Tested in Firefox, and video plays fine, but audio drops after 2-3 seconds, but video continues to play. Only docker update recently is Emby, going to attempt to roll-back, and see if that does anything SOLVED NOTE: Browser update issue. Reboot of system and re-install of browser resolved the issue.
  2. Removing the SimpleFeatures web server solved this issue. Thanks!
  3. I do have this plugin installed but I am not planning on using it. I'll remove that plugin and reboot once my current file transfer is complete. Thanks for the input.
  4. I am in the process of setting up unRAID. It is running 5.0-rc16a. The only plugin I've installed is SimpleFeatures. I've pre-cleared my drives and am in the process of transferring over data from one drive. When I go to navigate the folder through the Web interface, it gives me an error: I've set my time zone and NTP servers using the Public IP of those servers and have applied them, but I still get this error when browsing the folder structure through the Web Interface. The log shows: Jul 2 18:21:38 Zeus ntpd[4767]: ntpd [email protected] Sat Apr 24 19:01:14 UTC 2010 (1) Jul 2 18:21:38 Zeus logger: Starting NTP daemon: /usr/sbin/ntpd -g Jul 2 18:21:38 Zeus ntpd[4768]: proto: precision = 0.532 usec Jul 2 18:21:38 Zeus ntpd[4768]: ntp_io: estimated max descriptors: 20000, initial socket boundary: 16 Jul 2 18:21:38 Zeus ntpd[4768]: Listen and drop on 0 v4wildcard 0.0.0.0 UDP 123 Jul 2 18:21:38 Zeus ntpd[4768]: Listen normally on 1 lo 127.0.0.1 UDP 123 Jul 2 18:21:38 Zeus ntpd[4768]: Listen normally on 2 eth0 10.0.1.7 UDP 123 This is the correct time in the log. When I go to console and type date, I get: Tue Jul 2 18:21:38 CDT 2013 I'm wondering if this is something that will be fixed with a reboot (which I'll do after the transfer), if I should edit the config file listed in the error, or if this is an error with SimpleFeatures? Thanks!
  5. I just got this case this weekend and installed 6x R4-L2R-20AG-R2 along the 3.5 HDD Cages, all blowing into the case. It's a 2000RPM fan, with 69.69 CFM and 19 db-A. I really don't hear them. Then I placed a CF-012LB 1500 RPM fan doing about 40 CFM blowing into the case on the side where the motherboard is installed, and the three of the same fan on the other side for exhaust. My drive temperatures during pre-clear when it was writing zeros was 30-32. There's also two 140mm fans in the center blowing onto the motherboard, though I don't have those part numbers right now Not bad at all. I only have 4 drives in the system now, but will be adding another 8 over the week or so once I transfer files off my old system onto this one, so I'm curious on what the temperatures will be once it's all installed. The case is huge, luckily it fits in my closet with my other servers without issue. Even though you measure it, it's another thing to see it in person. https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Camera%20Uploads/2013-06-30%2020.31.13.jpg?w=AAA7-dB7dqS_H9F_GxKx1tJRbcwRMHQghBK1jhRhYGfUgw https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Camera%20Uploads/2013-06-30%2020.31.00.jpg?w=AACUKoTuw0QKEyr7JrSjPapqnknik0Q8z49RGuUjrRF8zg
  6. This case really intrigues me. I'm about to build a 20 bay, and this is a much less expensive option than what I was thinking about doing before. I'm wondering on what power supply or supplies (it supports 2) are you going to install?
  7. Bob, you can also run update_parsing.php in misc/testing/ it will match a decent amount of those bogus names and should cleanup some of them.
