What hardware? Seems the devices disconnect altogether.

    Aeotec Zwave HUB

    Skyconnect zigbee hub

    for PC hardware:

    ASRock B550M Steel legend

    Ryzen 5 5500

    both connected to the motherboard

Are they connected via a hub, looks like maybe power is being removed from them. Unraid gets text from lsusb, usb manager gets from udev but includes more detail.

Have you changed anything over last few days?

    Connected directly to the motherboard.

no changes in the last year.

I shutdown unraid and changed the USB device ports and same issue.

  3. Version 6.12.9

I have two USB devices (Zwave and a Zigbee hub) plugged into unraid and they are assigned to my VM. Last two days unraid will stop remembering I have two USB devices plugged in.

They won’t appear in system devices, usb manager will not see them, and they will not appear under USB devices in VM edit.

if I restart unraid, the USB devices will reappear and work for around 8 hours.

even after restarting, under the USB device section for a VM, I will see two “USB device is missing” even though both are showing.

Also for some reason unraid keeps naming my silicon lab USBs all the same. They appear different in USB manager.

How are you mapping the USB device. You need to map as a serial device and will show in HA like this

Yep that's the way I'm setup. Almost identical on the HA side.

    Update:

I just installed an USB extender and that was the issue. It was too close to my Z-Wave USB and possibly too close to the computer for it's liking. This was the reason why it was failing the radio setup

    thanks for your help though!

If you are using my plug, mappings need to be as follows:

I updated my Unraid from 6.9.2 to 11.1.2.

At first HA with Conbee II and serial passthrough didn't work. I changed nothing in HA or somewhere else with a code or so.

In Unraid I switched the Conbee device to serial connect. In HA i had to reconfigure the 'radio'. Here I chose the emulated USB with QEMU and not the Conbee Stick.

After that everything worked perfectly. No change in code or somewhere else. It's stable and working. :)

I'm trying to understand this to see if I can do the same. Can you explain this deeper?

    Bios config or bugged bios.

I feel like I can make the assumption that my motherboard is too new for virtualization and gigabyte has not made an update to

    handle it.

    For the configurations

    VT-d - enabled

    internal graphics - enabled

Graphics - I set it to the iGPU

    Resizable Bar - disabled

    Above 4k Decoding - enabled

    CSM - disabled

    C state - disabled

The system time is finally right. I I accidentally figured out how to lock the time and date.

    did I miss anythin?

  7. If is from TechPower Up. I’ve been using this rom. It works with it and without it.

Also, same for the multifunction xml change. Actually works better without it.

so the first time I got the motherboard I tried the Q-Flash with the F7 Bios.

I’ve also tried it with the the normal way of using a USB and going through the bios motion.

What I’ve been told is that the reset bug is not present within the 6000 series.

But a person(s) has seen an issue with the 6000 Series and the intel 12 motherboard.

if it’s a bios issue. Are you thinking it could be a bios issue or a motherboard issue?

  8. I will try this step.

I have the fighter. But I’ll try the red devil.

Also, I receive sound without multifunction. Adding multifunction is interesting. I will either have sound or not have sound.

    Edit:

I found the group and there was one post with my motherboard and they happened to have the close to the same setup.

Looks like it’s the 12th gen intel cpu and the Amd gpus not playing together

  9. I’m having an issue that’s stumping unraid support and myself.

I can only do a GPU passthrough when there is no VFIO bind and no amdgpu blacklist. But when I shutdown the VM I will receive these errors:

Sep 28 17:06:29 Tower kernel: amdgpu

0000:03:00.0: amogpu: failed to read ip discovery binary from file

    Sep 28 17:06:29 Tower kernel:

    [drm:amdgpu_discovery_set_ip_blocks [amdgpu]]

    *ERROR* amdgpu_discovery_init failed

Sep 28 17:06:29 Tower kernel: amdgpu

0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: Fatal error during GPU init

Sep 28 17:06:29 Tower kernel: amdgpu: probe of

    0000:03:00.0 failed with error -22

if I did bind the VFIO or do the blacklist, I will get just a black screen. When I shutdown the VM no errors.

I‘ll also get the header 127 reset bug.

    Troubleshooting:

    - VFIO GPU Bind

    - PCI ACS Override - all the modes

    - Vbios in the vm settings. I was unable to do the Vbios Dump script.
    - blacklist AmdGPU

Passthrough only works with no VFIO bind and no blacklists

    Setup:

    i5 12600k

    Gigabyte z690 Elite AX DDR5

    AMD 6600 XT
