  1. I have a backup on "unraid-connect" dated: Last Flash Backup: Thu, Apr 3, 2025, 9:05 PM And I think I've also set up an automatic backup to a local share. Now the array is in maintenance-mode, so I can't check it.
  2. Meanwhile it's doing the rebuild, I've started a preclear on a new (unasigned) disk. After half an hour my usb flash boot is now missing. Idk if they are related, maybe too much stress on the usb drive after the reboots of the last few days? It's 5 years old from the log: Apr 3 20:55:07 Unraid-Server emhttpd: ST10000NM0156-2AA111_ZA20X5GZ (sdm) 512 19532873728 Apr 3 20:55:07 Unraid-Server emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdm Apr 3 21:04:13 Unraid-Server flash_backup: adding task: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.my.servers/scripts/UpdateFlashBackup update Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: usb 1-6: USB disconnect, device number 3 Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393970) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393971) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393972) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393973) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393974) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393975) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393976) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393977) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393978) failed Apr 3 21:23:11 Unraid-Server kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 393979) failed Apr 3 21:23:12 Unraid-Server kernel: usb 1-6: new high-speed USB device number 5 using xhci_hcd Apr 3 21:23:12 Unraid-Server kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PCI0.GPP2.PTXH.RHUB.PO10._PLD due to previous error (AE_AML_UNINITIALIZED_ELEMENT) (20220331/psparse-529) Apr 3 21:23:12 Unraid-Server kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PCI0.GPP2.PTXH.RHUB.PO10._PLD due to previous error (AE_AML_UNINITIALIZED_ELEMENT) (20220331/psparse-529) Apr 3 21:23:12 Unraid-Server kernel: usb-storage 1-6:1.0: USB Mass Storage device detected Apr 3 21:23:12 Unraid-Server kernel: scsi host18: usb-storage 1-6:1.0 Apr 3 21:23:12 Unraid-Server emhttpd: Unregistered Flash device blacklisted (EBLACKLISTED2) Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server emhttpd: Unregistered Flash device error (ENOFLASH3) Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: scsi 18:0:0:0: Direct-Access SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 6 Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: sd 18:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg1 type 0 Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: sd 18:0:0:0: [sdn] 30031872 512-byte logical blocks: (15.4 GB/14.3 GiB) Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: sd 18:0:0:0: [sdn] Write Protect is off Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: sd 18:0:0:0: [sdn] Mode Sense: 43 00 00 00 Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: sd 18:0:0:0: [sdn] Write cache: disabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: sdn: sdn1 Apr 3 21:23:13 Unraid-Server kernel: sd 18:0:0:0: [sdn] Attached SCSI removable disk Apr 3 21:23:15 Unraid-Server emhttpd: Unregistered Missing key file (ENOKEYFILE2) Apr 3 21:23:15 Unraid-Server unassigned.devices: Disk with ID 'SanDisk_Ultra_USB_3.0_4C530000320815120460-0:0 ()' is not set to auto mount. 3. Data rebuild ongoing, estimated 12 hours. Everything seems to be fine, but I'll wait for it to finish befor marking as solved Thanks for the quick response
  4. All cables have been checked, both sata (sas to sata) and power. Still marked as "new". So now I can simply re-assign the disk to his original spot and restart the array and let it rebuilt the disk
  5. Array started after a fresh boot, the disk is being emulated and the "original" is under unassigned devices (unmounted) unraid-server-diagnostics-20250403-1851.zip
  6. Yesterday I added the 2nd parity drive to my array, which finished syncing after 18h hours. When I came home to check if all was good (6h after) all disks were spun down (intentional). So I decided to stop the array to add another drive. As soon as I stopped it one of my drives went missing. The two parity drives seems fine, as well the other seven array disks. Rebooted the pc. I ran a fs check on the missing drive (now under Unassigned Disk Devices) because it appeared as corrupted. Fixed. But now it shows as "new device" when I try to re-add to the array and it warns me it will be overwritten. All data seems fine and still on that disk, but I don't want to risk to lose 6TB of data unraid-server-diagnostics-20250402-2229.zip
