I know this has been done to death but i don't seem to have the experience to identify where my problem exists and/or how to rectify it. I've got an unraid box running with 4x 4TB hard drives in my array and a 120gb SSD for the cache drive. A month or two ago, i started getting random crashes with varying time between each crash. The crash could be whilst actively using plex on a tv or sometimes in the middle of the night when nothing is being used at all. The crashes seem to consist of the unraid GUI becoming non reachable, sometimes some of the docker GUI's are still reachable but are mostly unresponsive to any actions. The iLO remote console would show no video and SSH wouldn't be able to connect. Finally, i'm sure i noticed on more than one occasion that the SMB shares were still accessible though.... I tried reading the syslog and even docker logs but i could not decipher where my issue lies. More recently i've now been running into file-system read only error's and somehow i have convinced myself to try and replace the SSD as it is really quite old but now i've reached a point where the system is booting and i manage to move a few files using the mover off the cache drive but then get "File System Read Only" errors and i don't really know what my next steps are. I've got a brand new SSD to put into the system but i don't know if its possible to move the data off the cache and onto the array. I'm going to assume you'll need some diagnostic information but i'm not sure what you will need, if you could point me in the right direction i would be super grateful. Thanks in advance for any help!
