Is there any way to do just the post-read and smart comparison? I have the unusual situation where it was on the post-read step for the three drives but my vista machine (with the telnet sessions) rebooted due to a windows update.
In /tmp there is mdresp, read_speedsda (b, c), smart_start2268 (2989, 4044), zerosda (b, c). I was able to do my own smart scan and compare the results (only real difference is ecc which I've read is always huge for samsung drives and the temps which stayed at 24-25 throughout).
There's a chance it completed before the reboot, but then there should be smart_end files right? Not sure if I should run the preclear scripts again or just assume they are fine. Just hate to wait 20 hours again.
Thanks!
