  1. Using a new browser seems to have worked. Very odd. For context I was using firefox
  2. 32GB of ram, flash drive is 64GB
  3. Yes Unraid OS. Updated title as well to be clear
  4. Its unclear to me why but updates refuse to start from the unraid UI. I know I can work around this and do it via USB, but its far from ideal. I have checked all logs and there are no logs at all when trying to trigger an update. Basically after clicking all the way through it gets to the screen saying performing actions and will just sit there for hours/days with no progress/change and no logs.
  5. I didnt realize there was such a thing as a bad system to use unraid with. I assumed if its a computer it will run. Is there a list of good machine somewhere?
  6. I am just running one disk/array at this point. It does not have anything critical on it. This was more for testing purposes. I wanted to make sure I could setup/run things as I wanted then was going to buy a new system where it could run. But this bootable issue is making me quite concerned about how reliable this will be if just booting is an issue.
  7. I should have mentioned I did try that without any luck either. The device is a gigabyte brix, and has 1 USB 3.0 on the front and another on the back. I believe its this model, https://www.gigabyte.com/Mini-PcBarebone/GB-BXBT-2807-rev-10
  8. I have a USB, specifically an ADATA UV128 8GB USB 3.0 I have installed unraid onto. While unraid works fine once booted up with this device, any time I need to reboot my device or if it powercycles due to losing power, it takes 10-20 tries to actually get my machine to detect the USB as bootable and then actually boot it. When it fails to boot it simple says no bootable media found and sits at the screen despite the USB being plugged in. Ive tried flashing other USBs and trying them with unraid as well, such as a ADATA UV128 32gb, USB 3.2 device and it has the same issue.
