  1. No I was using the same USB drive. I ended up just reformatting my USB and starting over. I'm currently rebuilding parity. Thanks for the help.
  2. Hello, I got the fresh install to boot. If I try to use the old config files from the original install, then it will boot, but I cannot access the webgui without a timeout. If I access the webgui with the fresh install, then I can't try to make the server from scratch because my product key isn't able to be verified on the USB drive. I have contacted support about the product key issue, but I am not sure exactly what happened to my install. Thanks for the quick response, Thor
  3. Hello all, I was recently tidying up the cable management in my unRAID server, and I accidentally forgot the order my sata cables were originally plugged into the drives. When I try to connect to the webgui I get a timeout error, and the screen is blank when connecting a monitor to the server. I had seen on the forum that reformating the USB drive could help by rebuilding the array, but this didn't seem to help (I backed up the original USB drive files.) I couldn't even get the fresh unRAID USB to boot. If there is anything else that I can do, then I would love to know. I don't want to lose anything in the server, but nothing on it is important. There are 5 6tb hard drives and one 120gb cache ssd. I planned to remove one of the hard drives because it was having sector errors when reading. To clarify, I changed nothing except the order of the SATA cables, so there shouldn't be any hardware fault considering this server was running fine a few hours ago with weeks of uptime. Thanks for any help, Thor.

  5. Hello all, I recently was tidying up the cable management in my unRAID server, and I accidentally forgot the order my cables were plugged in to my drives. I had been under the impression that unRAID didn't rely on sata ordering, but now I cannot connect to the webgui or get the server to display anything when booting. When connecting to the webgui it says connection timed out. I don't know how to proceed at the moment, and I've been trying cable combinations to no avail. If there is a way to rebuild the array with whatever order without losing data, then that would be preferred, but I can lose the data if need be since it is mostly movies that I can get off the discs again. i have 5 6tb drives and 1 120gb cache ssd if that information is helpful. Thanks
