    Hello, Maybe of no help now or just random that my symptoms were similar but I had the lsi 2008 SAS HBA stuck at 50mb/s , I have an external raid box connected via a four lane sas cable , I disabled NCQ on the HBA and my speed went to what I was expecting (many hundreds of mb/s) Stu
