  1. Dell R730XD with 12gbps will not connect to NetApp DS4246 Disk Enclosure

    Hi, I have a Dell R730XD server with a Dell 12GB SAS External HBA PCIe Controller Card 02PHG9 in it. I can see the card in the boot and iDrac but for some reason it will not connect to a NetApp DS4246. The link lights on the disk enclosure never turn on. I have tried UnRaid, Windows and ProxMox on the server. The card appears in the devices list but will not connect to the NetApp. I have tested the NetApp on another server using a LSI 9206-16e and everything works as expected (the cables, the enclosures, the HD's in the enclosure). I have looked thru everything to try to understand what I may be doing wrong. Obviously I am missing something. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any suggestions!
