Hey All
I'm definitely still learning Unraid / Servers etc. I was trying install a new m.2 drive in my cache pool folowing instructions from the link below. in the process it seems I have messed up the filesystem on the drive. The original drives are back in my system. I've been exploring the forum all night and tried the following commands:
btrfs-select-super -s 1 /dev/nvme1n1
No valid Btrfs found on /dev/nvme1n1
Open ctree failed
mount -o rescue=all,ro /dev/nvme1n1 /temp
mount: /temp: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/nvme1n1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error.
mount -o degraded,rescue=all,ro /dev/sdX1 /temp
mount: /temp: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/nvme1n1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error.
btrfs check --repair /dev/sdX1
Errors out
Its not the end of the world if I loose the data it was just my appdata folder, I would reather not loose my plex server if possible but if that has to happen it won't be the end of my world.
Again sorry for possible extreme noobness
