  1. Hello and good morning.  I hope this is the right place to ask this and forgive me if its not but would it be possible for you to do a Foundry game server docker?  It just came out last week on steam and they have a Foundry dedicated server for it.  If it is possible thank you very much.  If you are too busy then thank you for all you do otherwise and I guess i'll start to learn how to build a docker.

  2. So far so good.  Just finished the scrub and balance and no errors and nothing in the log other then the balance and scrub.  Guess I'll let it run for the day and then if its good figure out why that slot is giving me trouble as its a brand new server.  Figures its something basic.  Much appreciated and I'll mark as solution for now.

    Thanks

  3. Keep getting this error every day and ive deleted the docker img file and rebuilt it already.  Checked out the SSD that the cache is on and i keep getting write errors on the primary SSD Cache Drive.  I pulled it and reseat it as well.  I have it in Raid 1 so if i have to swap it out thats fine even more so as i have spares available.  Just wanna make sure im not missing something but Im wondering if i have a bad drive.

    Thanks

    I'm running latest stable unRAID so I don't think so. Would you recommend 6.13 or Thor kernel or passing through to a VM? Also Windows VM or Linux VM?

    Personally I'm just waiting for 6.13.  If you need it now then yeah id run it through a vm.  I don't think it matters what VM but someone else could answer that better then me.  I'd do what  OS you are more comfortable with.  Windows has ARC drivers and Linux has them built in now.  So what ever is easiest for you.

    I'm running latest unRAID on a Asus Rog Strix Z490-G Gaming WiFi with a i9-10900F. I'm using an Intel Arc A380.

    Does this already work with Jellyfin Docker or do I still need to pass-through to a VM?

    Unless you are running and can confirm unraid 6.13 has linux kernel 6.2 or higher OR using Thors little kernel hack to run linux 6.2 or higher on unraid 6.12 then no it doesn't work natively.  You would still need to pass it on through a VM.

  6. Just kinda curious and I know this isn't going to be an easy answer if it is possible.  But with AMD releasing a new media accelerator card that supports AV1 and is stupid fast.  How would one go about loading the drivers into unraid?  Is it even possible or is this gonna have to be something like whats been happening to load the Intel ARC drivers into unraid?

    Specifically i'm looking at an Alveo MA35D media accel card.  It would be running on a Dell r730xd.  But I have absolutely no idea how the software and driver side of things would work.

    Does this show anything?

    root@computenode:~# ls -l /dev/serial/by-id
    total 0
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Sep 16 20:40 usb-0658_0200-if00 -> ../../ttyACM0
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Sep 17 08:06 usb-dresden_elektronik_ingenieurtechnik_GmbH_ConBee_II_XXXXXXXX-if00 -> ../../ttyACM1

    Using the terminal it shows

    root@Tower:~# ls -l /dev/serial/by-id
    /bin/ls: cannot access '/dev/serial/by-id': No such file or directory

  8. So I have a r730xd and I needed to add a couple USB ports so I grabbed PCIe To USB Card.  I've got 2 USB to serial adapters attached to it and I just need to ask the stupid question.  How do I find what tag they are associated with as they go to my two MD1200s for fan control.  I had this working on my previous setup so I know the cables are good.  I'm just wondering if theres a driver or something I need to install or how do I find the tags. On the last one it was set to /dev/ttyUSB1.

    Appreciate it guys and I hope you can help me.

  9. About to update from 6.12.3 using the ipvlan work around as I was getting crashes.  I'm also using ubiquity UDMP and a 48 port switch so I'm wondering if there is anything I specifically need to do other then what's in the update notes?

    Also would the 6.12.3 setup cause issues when trying to enable aggregation through my switch since my dell r730xd and the network card should support it?  Because every time I tried my system would not like it.  And if so would this update help fix that?

    Thanks guys.

  10. So I have the titled UPS and I would like to connect it to unraid for obvious reasons.  I had unraid hooked up to an APC 1000 desktop version and it connected just fine and still connects just fine over the RJ50 to USB cable.  However when I hook up the new one it doesn't connect or see it. I've tried all the combos of cables and APC in unraid.  The date of manufacture for the Smart UPS is 2011 if that helps.

    "Native Unraid" - I am running Plex using the built in Docker engine and passing through the card with --device /dev/dri/renderD128

    Wut?!?!?!!?  Well assuming my 27U rack with all my stuff in it arrives at the new house in one piece I'll give this a shot in a couple days.

    Anyone else try it?

    No 6.1 is a Long term vers. 6.4 may release tomorrow. I would expect betas for 6.13 to be on at least 6.3 timeframe unknown/SoonTM

    Fair enough.  At least with the rate at which UnRaid is doing releases means there is a fair chance to have ARC support late this year or early next year.

    Thank you.

    Yes

    Is UnRaid that far out of date then?  So should we expect a skip?  It looks like Linux 6.3.9 is up.  I'm also pretty sure i know the answer but any idea when we will see at least a version capable of Arc drivers implemented?
