  1. So my entire server has just died -_-. Hardware issue. But thankfully, I have a backup of the config. Appreciate the help
  2. Unfortunately, multiple restarts didn't fix this issue.
  3. After enabling exporting syslog logs to a remote server, I got a Common Problems notification that the rsyslog.conf had become corrupted. Indeed it had become corrupted with random binary data in the /etc/rsyslog.conf file. I tried replacing it with another sample I found in a clean install linux server I had but after running `/etc/rc.d/rsyslog.d restart` it will fail with Starting rsyslogd daemon: /usr/sbin/rsyslogd -i /var/run/rsyslogd.pid ID for user 'syslog' could not be found or error cp: cannot stat '/var/run/rsyslogd.pid': No such file or directory Adding my diagnostics to the attatched but also there the syslog.txt file is empty. At this moment, I don't have any syslogs running and not sure how to get things up and running again. Any advice? osgiliath-diagnostics-20231216-2255.zip
