  1. Thanks for your reply. I ended up just deleting the network.cfg file which fixed the issue before I saw your answer, but much appreciated.
  2. Hi there - I'm receiving this error when trying to update apps or reach the app store, as well as update plugins on my Unraid server. I also can't connect to Unraid connect. Community Applications requires your server to have internet access. The most common cause of this failure is a failure to resolve DNS addresses. You can try and reset your modem and router to fix this issue or set static DNS addresses (Settings - Network Settings) of 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 and try again. Error from Apps Alternatively, there is also a chance that the server handling the application feed is temporarily down. See also this post for more information Last JSON error Recorded: Syntax error Error from Plugins Update: Checking connectivity ... No response, aborting! I've recently moved my Unraid server from my old house to a new house but have brought along the same static IP with my provider. The only change I can think is related is I have changed my Unraid server from the old subnet to a new one when I upgraded my router. I am using a Unifi Dream Machine SE and have created the subnet 10.40.0.x and put my Unraid server on that subnet. Everything else works fine i.e. Plex, Radarr, Sonarr etc and external users are able to stream fine. Diagnostics attached. unraid-server-diagnostics-20241208-1134.zip
  3. Ha! its just started to write to Disk 2 now, phew! Thanks again
  4. Thanks trurl, will do much appreciated.
  5. Hmm, Perhaps its because Disk 3 was the one disk that rebuilt from the parity before I botched everything up for the remaining disks? Its a share for youtube-dl-server just houses downloaded youtube vids
  6. Again stupidly I formatted and re-sold the disks (to help cover costs of the 8TB ones) sigh.. lesson learned, thankfully all important stuff was backing up via cloudberry to an s3 bucket. Just have to get the media again
  7. I tired to but I cant copy the file from my unraid server, it just says "Permission denied" and the documentation on that page does not explain what to do there root@user-OptiPlex-7040:/mnt/unraid/usenet# cp unraid-server-diagnostics-20240130-1615.zip /home/user/Downloads/ cp: cannot open 'unraid-server-diagnostics-20240130-1615.zip' for reading: Permission denied Edit: I managed to get the syslog, attached.unraid-server-syslog-20240130-0339.zip Edit: and the diagnostics unraid-server-diagnostics-20240130-1641.zip
  8. So what I tried... at first I had the parity disk rebuilt onto the new 8tb then swapped one of the data disks and let that rebuild from the parity then stupidly tried to do the 2 remaining disks at once - preclear > rebuild that lead to an error of incorrect disk config (something along those lines) Then I follow some instructions here in the forum to use the New Config tool to fix that It started to re-write my parity and lost all data except for 1 of the new 8tb disks So ive started downloading stuff again and its spreading across the disks like the screenshots. then tried that lead to just losing data, which is fine, I can download it again. But now in redownloading stuff, its not spreading across the disks very evenly
  9. Starting to get a little worried something is up here.. I changed from 4x 4TB SATA drives to 4x 8TB SATA drives and have noticed the array seems to be ignoring Disk 2. Am I being paranoid? I recall the first time I set up Unraid it was spreading a bit more even from the start...
