  1. Hello

Could we get the option to mirror a share to the array, but read from the pool?

This would be a good option for the appdata, for those of us who are risky and run raid0 for speed. Option to mirror the pool data or array when the mover runs. This way if the pool dies, app data is still complete on the array.

  2. I think I've figured it out. It had nothing to do with the hardware in it, but the smart power monitor that the ups was plugged into. Internet drops, faulty power monitor caused a power spike which made the netapp reboot.

Seems to be what was happening anyway, could be wrong, but I caught the adaptor last night having a seizure and passing it onto the netapp... Removed it and everything went back to normal.

  3. Hello

I was wondering how we can get docks that aren't in the community plugins installed? Threadfin isn't in there but it is a much better version of xteve and is still in active development. It also allows to backup streams for channels just incase one goes down which I think is a really good feature plus actually buffers to ram instead of files.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  4. Ok, that job finished. Didn't fix it. Locations tab still shows that it knows where all the files are, but it still will not show them. Plex can still see the latest season and actually play them for some reason, Sonarr still can see everything, nothing has gone missing with a rescan, but the file managers can not. Plex can not see any season but the last. Said show has 21 seasons.

  5. It is my media share. I've tried creating a test folder in it which shows no issue making but it still does not show. Very strange.

No, I will try that now. Plex has decided it will see the latest season of the show now, but the rest still are not visable but nothing is visable in the file manager both on windows smb or within unraid

  6. I have one specific folder of which its contents does not show from within the share. Funny thing is, Sonarr can see it all. Plex can not. Within unraid file manager, if in the share version, it will also not see it, but if I go into each individual drive which the share says it has contents on, I can see them. Any Ideas?

Sorry but I have no idea what it could be, never seen anything similar, let us know if you end up finding anything more.

Will do. It is only the second HBA which is affected by this, so I'm going to try getting an expander card and run it all from the one HBA. I'm just not sure about what cables I'll need now if I do this so it may take a while.

I'm thinking of going with this one, https://www.ebay.com/itm/185002503624?fbclid=IwAR1R2aR-LnLarIdVB3ZVIAqZMm6atBtDm0AFRxPhUINZFFjc3TfPBsgOxK8
Then I'll need to know what cable I need to connect that to my NetApp.

  8. Ok, so I have disabled the onboard nic and installed a 4 port intel nic.

I rebooted the router to see if it fixed it. This time, 2 of the drives showed read errors which is a lot better but it doesn't seem like it fixed the issue. All the drives on the second hba which is attached to the NetApp now show under historical devices (which means they were temporarily disconnected?), and all the temps for those drives are not readable.

I've attached the diagnostics. Let me know what I should try next.

Would that second hba possibly be the issue? I'm considering getting an expander card and running it all from the one hba.

Well if you can give me a detailed run-down on a collection of FFmpeg commands for transcoding to AV1 with various bitrates (VBR or CBR), etc. Then I can do the python work for you...

I looked at the docs for AV1 the other day and after about an hour I gave up.

What about now? Av1 is now easily done with handbrake, not sure about ffmpeg but I would assume so. It has also been not far off a couple years since you said this. I love your app but I'm currently waiting on something to have a decent Av1 encoder plugin, especially one that uses Intel quick sync. I have a A770 Intel Arc, so I'm wanting to take advantage of its Av1 hardware accelerated encoder. I know a lot of people out there want to take advantage of this, it would be a serious space saver for all of us.

This is very strange indeed, issues start a couple of minutes after a NIC related call trace, do you have a different NIC you could use, ideally an Intel NIC?

I don't have any spare pcie slots. The only card I have is an old 4 port hp one from an old server.

I agree. OP, you don’t mention what this site is, but, if it’s something at a webhost that someone from your org manages(CPane access) then definitely contact the hosting company. We have had complaints like this from our campus and it turned out to be an IP block of our NAT address because a web developer had tried the wrong password for the CPanel too many times.

What sort of spam bot wizardry is this?

  12. Hello

I'm trying to figure out why... When my network drops for any reason, all the drives that are on my NetApp start showing errors. A simple reboot will say that "array turned good
Array has 0 disks with read errors" but this triggers a parity check. Which also comes back with zero errors.

This happens any time, and I mean "any" time, that the network connection drops. Even just unplugging the ethernet cable will make it happen.

Strange this is, that used to force it into a shutdown before a bios update. Motherboard is Z690 GAMING X DDR4 if that helps

  13. Strange, it works now. It took a couple reboots though. So now in my apps, do I need to map to /dev/dri/card0 now instead of /dev/dri/?

Changing to /dev/dri/renderD128 seems to work for the iGPU, /renderD129 doesn't seem to do anything to get the a770 to work.

I guess there is still a bit more waiting to do.

  17. I have a 16gb A770. If I upgrade to the RC, will it work out of the box? It is currently sitting in my unraid on the latest stable build but it isn't picking it up. I'd upgrade to the rc if it will make it work though.
