So the HBA in IT Mode does work in pcie 4x slot with the adapter. Thanks' for the assistance.

I didn't know x8 SAS HBAs will still work with x4 connections. Ill have to look into getting one and testing it.

I've looked over that forum, but I didn't come across any cards that really fit what I was looking for. I was hoping to find someone that might have a card they could confirmed work for them.

Yeah removing the Sata Card resolved the issue. Thank you for the help.

Hi I am looking for a recommendation for a PCIe card that has 8 Sata ports that fits in a x4 slot. I need an additional 8 ports but my board only has x1 and x4 slots available. I would get a SAS card but I've only seen x8 SAS cards. I have tried https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2WRDXQJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details but it was causing my system to crash. Does anyone have any experience with a card that does work?

I have been having trouble with unraid where all the CPU cores will hit 100% and then the system will hard lock. It happens at least once every 24 hrs, requiring me to do a hard reset. I am unable to find the cause of the issue. I have tried several solutions to no avail.I have updated to 6.12.8, I have macvlan turned off in docker, tried booting in safe mode and running with out docker and vms but it still crashes sometime in the middle of the night. I have even tried rebuilding my boot drive incase that was the issue. The diagnostic has the last few days of system logs but I haven't notice any cause of issue. b1-diagnostics-20240219-1138.zip

I don't know what caused the issue, but updating from 6.12.0 to 6.12.3 fixed the issue.

I recently increased my server storage by replacing a 1tb drive with a 4tb. I then let my array rebuild its self from parity, now my server is reporting 120tb with 60tb used. this is wildly wrong considering I only have 13.3tb in the hole server. does anyone have any ideas of the cause or fix.
