  1. Well, as it turns out, I didnt have anything really repeatable after all. Most of the time I boot without a code error, sometimes still get the code 43, sometimes code 12. All three ways I cant seem to actually use the igpu for transcodes on plex. At this point, I've essentially spent a couple of 40 hour work weeks trying to debug this with every possible combination. I've even tried, as someone said somewhere on this forum, saying Spaceinvader One in the mirror three times, and still have yet to see it transcode again... I'm done. If anyone else has the Intel Hd 4600 igpu passed through to thier windows VM I'd love to: 1. See your XML 2. Know whether you're using UEFI or Legacy Boot 3. Know whether you have another video card on board, and which if any HDMI ports have a monitor attached 4. Know what version windows drivers for the 4600 5. Know if you modified the Unraid Kernel Without a little guidance from someone who has this Igpu functionally passed through, I surrender.
  2. I've been having "intermittent" problems with my Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor. Initially my passthrough worked (first try!!) Then after a reboot of my VM it stopped. I played around for a few hours (and watched several Spaceinvader One videos) and edited some xml (to no avail) then I deleted the mulitfunction and poof! like magic it worked. Fast forward a few weeks, I needed to reboot the VM for one reason or another and no bueno. About a week of combing these forums, watching all manners of instructionals and nothing was working, till today. Now I've got a replicatable way to make the igpu work and im wondering if anyone can tell me based on this what I need to change so that i dont need my workaround any more. So, it's as simple as going into device manager in the VM (windows 10) and uninstalling the device. After that stop the VM, start it back up and voila Plex HW trancoding is operational again (until next reboot). After reboot, doesnt work and device manager throws code 12. Can anyone tell me what (if anything) is wrong here on my end. If not, is there some way for me to add a uninstall video card script into my shut down routine?
