Just posting that I ran into EAC issues after booting up a game today after a while. EAC would start the game but the game would throw an exception on launch preventing me from playing. It was really frustrating. The error was acting like I needed to validate the file integrity but it was just EAC failing under the hood. Found this forum thankfully and followed the instructions on the VRChat link above (THANKS!) And it works. Basically I just had to add the system info (minus the uuid field) and the vendor id field in the guide. Everything started working for me afterwards. I'm running an i9 12900k / 3090 fwiw
