Hey all, really scratching my head with this one. My Plex docker container has worked perfectly for the last 12 months, however out of the blue it's started crashing. Took a while to figure out why it was crashing, and I've discovered partially whats responsible - and thats a significant memory leak, which in turn is causing the CPU to spike.
I've included a video of what I'm seeing with "docker stats" and the Plex Media Server container logs. You'll see a common error "Critical: libusb_init failed", Googling this error suggests it's related to USB devices, however I do not use any so I'm a bit confused with this one.
Steps taken to no avail:
Rebooting the container
Limiting the memory to 8gb from 16gb (max available)
Restarting docker service
Allocating more storage for docker file
Performed a "btrfs scrub" - no errors
Rebooted server
Forced update of container
Plenty of Google searching but no luck (or not looked hard enough)
I'm curious, has anybody experienced this issue before? And if so, what's the best way of identifying exactly what's causing the memory leak?
Thank you in advance 🙂
