Solutions

  1. Earlyjune's post in Unraid is reachable locally, can ping 8.8.8.8 but still no internet access. was marked as the answer   
    For everyone here: The issues was not DNS related but rather NTP related, since my CMOS reset i had the wrong date in. This caused my server to not find a dns Server.
    I feel dumb.
