    That worked! The article made it seem like it would be obvious and just ask for a new password and I forgot what the original login was (root vs admin). I was logging in directly from the server and not windows. Thank you.

    Forgot my password and found Unraid article detailing how to reset password here (Link). I did that but when I plug the USB back into my server, it still asks me to login. Here's a picture of windows file exploerer showing a distinct lack of: config/shadow config/smbpasswd
