backup/restore vms ??
From "ghost82" I have created a new vm: Choose the Linux or Ubuntu template instead of windows 10 Do not set the OS install cdrom Choose VNC as graphics Do not select a sound card (none), or select the onboard audio (do not choose hdmi audio) Do not check any usb device Uncheck start vm after creation Click create I have done a past and copy of the xml file from the new VM to the old one and replace the type by "vmdk" and change the file path and upload it. Whe starting the vm I have now a "error unknow filesystem" .... <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='22'> <name>Ubuntu</name> <uuid>183fce21-befa-45c2-0ede-0ce5d58cbfc7</uuid> When trying to start my Home Assistant VM, with the backuped vdmk file attached (/mnt/user/domains/UnS04_VM.HA/20231008_0000_haos_ova-10.2.vmdk) I have the Shell's prompt nothing else .... Thx

backup/restore vms ??
Hello all, I have made a big mistake yesterday. I have had the strange idea to swap my parity hdd and my cache hdd, result is I have lost all my dockers and VMs. I do have a backup for all my vms (only the vdisk.img, no vram, no xml). To restore my vms, I have tried to follow these instaructions: Of course, it doesn't work ... I have the grub's prompt everytime I try to boot. My primary vdisk location is: /mnt/user/domains/freya-sdns/20231008_0000_vdisk1.img The Bios I am using is: OVMF Ideas where to start ? Thx
