Hi slow speed when written to unRaid is normal as it design to be like this is will equal to 1/4 speed of hard disk you can improve by adding cache, then speed can reach to 95Mbps Warm regards and be love with unRaid as I did for few years. Copy file from your desktop to unRaid cache with full of bandwidth, after that unRaid will move from cache to data disk with slow speed.

Dear friend I was use unraid since v5, I love with this OS. It simple to expand by adding driver. For your data, it not 100% need because time to convert will be .. exeption Y will begine with fresh system. ZFS is the best of data protection for me at momend. Regard

I could not done in 3 mainboard with graphic bios (intel socket 1156, 1155 and 1150) but done for 4 cards with old bios (am3 socket) then it not by the brand, just do it in DOS by old mainboard.

You can search for slc flash usb. I bougth 1 with only 8gb for around $20.

It very nice share. I wish to have templace with 4 hdd in 1 tray, i thing it better ventilation. With 14cm fan in front to bring cool air, and rubber gasket to prevent vibration of hdd. Thanks

Hi, for Plus license then i looking for a85 chipset with 8sata port on m-atx mainboad. As now I use g880 chipset and ecc ram for data server. I only use amd for 10 years until now.

I was used both of os: performance + data safety is freenas over unraid. Flexible for modify data then replace hdd then unraid has advance point. Large file as movie then freenas is better, smaller file as word excel then unraid easy to handling. Freenas shall use ram to cache directory and data, but unraid only cache directory.. if you want to change name of file in freenas then you will fealing craisy because freenas feedback that some program still using this file. My documents is small file then i use unraid.

I did try to use buffalo nas with 8hdd swap able tray. It work with no any issue, ups was recornizer via USB port and HDD very cool. I only concern about it is price and non ecc memory and performance of CPU. Any recommend for it if using buffalo nas.
