  1. Hello my name is Michael, also known as Dex or DexterDJ. I came up as a young kid, an afroman young nerd type. My father, who off my mother's Military career, was working on base, so his skills and his Charisma landed him as a mail boy at CSC Corp. and he was able to afford a town house for the family after my mother left the Military. Turns out that during the company lunch and meet-n-greets, they discovered that my father was a Pro Chess player. Being an Afromale in the 80s and at his age of 35, every CEO there or Captain at the time were defeated by him in the game. Suddenly, they in-return promoted him to jobs involving government level insurance and he brought home a 286 computer. Back when the energy companies punished high energy use, there were no stars of energy efficiency in those. Turned them on, and the next thing you know, the power and the lights fade and the lights dim for about 10 seconds as the disks spin up. I kept turning them on when they weren't looking, and peeking into the world of MS-DOS, and from there, it's history. By the time I was 17, with the help of a successful paper route, I also had a PC Technician position, my own Freelance gig. I appreciated all my neighbors as I grew up in a more diverse neighborhood with all races, Whites, Asians, you name it. Back then, when we got along much better, the comfort of me in their homes was like "I was their son" I managed to know the "config.sys and autoexec.bat" so well that I could just enumerate the system they wanted or manifest with "NOEMS" and things like that on the command prompt. Then when they saw me typing up "copy con...." then they just threw themselves on the couch and left me to do my work many of my neighbors. Still today, I am friends with a special somebody who is a Polish-Italian lady, and we from 19-21 trained in the IRC every day. They were like Truckers on the web in the 90s. We learned so much like "Military Style training" where "YOU" are a doctor, but you only do heart surgeries very well because on the field, out there in the "Danger Zone" you got people's hearts another chance with a strip of vein in the leg or something like that. I dealt with many issues with all flavors of Windows. I didn't see many Linux machines, the common home PC was Microsoft. In saying all of that, what brought me here was a YOUTUBE streamer named CRAFTCOMPUTING and I appreciated his hard work and content on this great hypervisor. The only one that can work with no issues with also a HP Proliant DL380 Gen 9 server. No other Hypervisor could handle and I might have to change the GPU since the GTX 980 needs work. I can just make it a headless server for all my gaming and file storage needs. My plan is to get better performance out of this. My only issue is the network collisions going on between the VMS with the VIRTIO going on. I'd like to use baremetal for networking and then give each vm that's running an extra lane. Leave the Virtio for the Linux machine.
  2. I have to appreciate the vast community that you have. I believe that from what I've seen on Social Media, this is the best hypervisor that I've worked with. I appreciate the ability to try it and the price is definitely surprising. Looking forward to learning more about it.
  3. ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) , Version Rev X.0x American Megatrends Inc., Version 3402 BIOS dated: Wed 13 Jan 2021 12:00:00 AM CST This PC performs well with a 12 Core AMD Ryzen 9 - 5950X I notice that when I use the virtio drivers and have two windows VMs running, and I want to create traffic, I get high spins on the fans and I think that is what causes the stuttering. I tried to disable the virtio drivers via the networking control panel, network adapters... and I get stability. Until that is, I start to send files between the Share and the Windows VM. I bought a low-profile dual 1gb network card. Can I use that to provide extra lanes like a server to send between the vms via bridge and also have one lane for external internet traffic, for example: to my nas or to my Plex Media Server? (edited, I also have a 2 USB network adapters, but I believe it's overpowering the 3.1 USB lane so my RGB mice fail, so hopefully my purchase wasn't in vain.) I am pretty much sold all other issues were easy to resolve and the community is awesome here. Not much time needed on Youtube. Thanks
