  1. Wow, thanks for letting me know. I had not heard of this issue with intel CPUs. I did a deep dive into the issue and I'm really shocked how bad intel messed this up. I updated the BIOS and was able to complete a a parity check, so I think that's a pretty good indication that the CPU is the problem. Hopefully I can RMA it 😟
  2. I'm running memtest86 currently, it's about half way done with no errors reported yet. Do you think that is sufficient to rule out memory issues (assuming it completes the test with no errors) or should I pull different sticks as you suggested? Also I'm curious why a 13900K specifically would be a potential issue vs say any other CPU?
  3. I've been having issues with my Unraid server for a while but just haven't had time to investigate. Until yesterday when I forced to make time because it wouldn't boot up. Turns out, the flash drive had gone bad. So I replaced it with a new one using a backup. I was hoping that replacing the flash drive would solve all the random issues I've been having but at least one issue persists; parity checks stall and never complete. In the logs I see a ton of the same warning repeated over and over again as well as one error. According to this thread (https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/stable-releases/61210-kernel-bug-at-driversmdunraidc1617-r2973/), it sounds like it might be a hardware issue. Are the warnings and error related? I'm not sure which device the warnings are referring to but maybe that can help me pinpoint the specific hardware that is causing the problem. Or is it something completely different? genesis-diagnostics-20250921-1003.zip
