Got it working! In the end it was the ports on the NIC not working. Switching to the ports on the motherboard did the trick. Thank you for the help!

Yes I have several ports on the motherboard I can try. Does it matter if I put it in the IPMI port or should I use the other 2 normal ones? I also have juggled the cables around a few times, but I can try different ports on the switch and different Ethernet cables again and see. Not the best with physical architecture, thanks again.

So I’ve spent about a day googling to get a fix for this and I’m still stuck. Do you have any ideas on what could help? Thanks again!

This is my first time setting up an unraid server and I am having some issues. I built a new server box, jammed an unraid USB in the back, and booted it up. The unraid install will get through to the CL, but initially it said IPV4 and IPV6 not set while DHCP was on. The BMC had an IP assigned by my switch, so I went and manually plugged the information into the network.cfg file, and it appeared on the CL above the login like it should. The issue is that I cannot connect to the web GUI on another machine, and cannot launch it on the server itself. Of note, I can ping the unraid server IP from another machine and it returns immediately without hiccups, but the server itself cannot ping out. It fails to ping any network device, including the switch and the router. The only IP I can ping is the loopback, if that matters. I have tried: - Reinstalling Unraid (clear cmos) - Clearing network-rules and resetting network.cfg to default - Checked all physical connections (cables and ports) - Different USB's (All FAT32 and on a USB 2.0 port) - Different monitors incase the local web gui host was a display issue Housekeeping: - The switch does recognize the server and its IP, and the ethernet cable lights blink the good colors, so they should be working correctly.
