  1. how to configure it to use my nvidia gpu assuming i have all my drivers installed correctly and also working with my plex docker container. you need to invest serious time to have all configs editable via the gui, this will bring the application to a whole new level, to make your life easier, make a live config generator to see the output as you edit on the gui. it can be even a seperate website that someone can copy paste the yaml file into. what ever is the case we need this.
  2. @Frank1940 I appreciate your answers and putting the effort into understanding my concern. I will stay on the lookout and hopefully one day someone can either pickup the plugin or provide a better solution.
  3. without the plugin, everytime i open any folder via terminal or smb it will wakeup the drive. i was wondering what are the apropriate settings for min and max depth and what do they really mean. is there a timeout for this cache, etc..
  4. i only scanned my media and not everything. but my media is around 400,000 files. also what should the depth be if i want to index all folders and what about various timeout settings?
  5. I have 128GB of ECC RAM and obviously this is not a problem. I want to adjust my settings so my folder structure data are always stored in memory. The problem is that randomly the system wakes up my drives even when no docker/vm is active. I set the below settings based on the description: cache_pressure = 0 Limit the memory available to the shell in which the script runs (increase if it dies): 0 What about the rest of those settings? I'm geniunely confused and assume that 100% up to date folder structure is not an issue since it is a plex server. what settings should I adjust the below if the goal is to minimize spinning up the drives. Minimum level depth (for adaptive depth): Maximum level depth: Disk Idle Timer (sec): Scan timeout for a scan during disk-idle period (sec): Scan timeout for a scan during initial startup or less-idle period (sec): Scan timeout for a scan when all directories have been succesfully cached (sec): Minimum interval between folder scans (sec): Maximum interval between folder scans (sec): Run scan of each disk in a separate thread:
  6. i copied all files, I used winrar so it can clearly tell me which files were corrupted. all was good, so I just formatted the usb and used the usb creation tool and used local zip file. i'm noticing that i'm getting boot error on every reboot, until i format the usb again. i tried chkdsk and also sector read using hard disk sentinel and all is good. something else is going on.
  7. I created a vm and attached nvidia gpu and when i clicked create it stopped responding and the VMs tab tab stopped working completely. after reboot it wont start anymore it got stuck here vfio-pci" vgaarb "deactivate vga console Update 1: I downlaoded all files from the USB and some files were corrupted mostly in: D:\config\pools\ D:\config\docker.cfg I used an older backup to restore those files and reformatted and used local to upload a clean and complete copy (after replacing the corrupted files) Now it passes the ipv6 and stuck in microcode: CPU2: patch_level=0x0a20102b
  8. system diagnostics didn't work and it was hanging forever. 2024/01/22 15:44:07 [error] 9215#9215: *27035 auth request unexpected status: 504 while sending to client, client: 195.*****, server: , request: "GET /VMs HTTP/2.0", host: "195.*******:4114", referrer: "https://195.*********:4114/Main" , upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock" 2024/01/22 16:25:29 [error] 9215#9215: *34192 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: 192.168.1.158, server: , request: "GET /Main HTTP/2.0", subrequest: "/auth-request.php", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock", host: "****.local" restarting php5-frm resolved it command: /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx restart /etc/rc.d/rc.php-fpm restart
  9. how were you able to resolve this issue? i uninstalled a couple of plugins and I don't want to restart since there is an important process running in the background
