Hey everyone, I am new to this whole experience of ripping movies/discovering Unraid/etc. I want to digitize & store my movie collection to a dedicated Plex server that uses Unraid. I have been talking back & forth with someone that will be building my server for me & we reached a point in the conversation about him using Usenet, indexers, & ‘arrs to build his media collection. Since this is all new to me, the idea of ripping my own movies with makeMKV & storing them to my internal storage in my server sounds less complicated to me. I’m just unsure how to go about setting this all up once I do get my build from him to get makeMKV to work with this OS. If I could get some guidance on what is a simple way of being able to digitize my collection I would appreciate any help.
