  1. First time building a server! Could do with some pointers.

    Hey everyone! Doing a clear out of some old things and decided to get into Plex to free up some space. I've got it mostly working on my main PC as a test and I just want to see what I'd need to build a decent little server which can do 4k HDR for probably about 5 people. I luckily have an Arc A310 lying around which looks decent for transcoding and I assume better than a CPU atleast. Other than that I'm not sure what CPU to go for. I've also heard a lot about "C states" which I assume is something i'll want to investigate more. I'm also going to assume looking at Linux would be a better option over windows / debloated windows? Any pointers would be wonderful! Thanks!
